Here Comes Hurricane Fay, Once Again, We Are Right In The Middle.

2004 was the worst year of my life.  I lost both parents.  August 13, I lost my house in Hurricane Charley.  Now, here we go all over again.  It is just starting to rain, and the outer bands are just starting to come into good ol' Punta Gorda.  I have Peace.  God is here with me.  I feel his love, and I know with all my heart he will get me through this.  I don't want to re-build again.  But I become stronger with my trials.  My faith grows stronger because I have to put my trust in him, He is all I have! Granted I have a great husband, and lots of friends, but they didn't make the heavens and earth, They didn't create a plan to save the world by coming to earth as a saviour. And their advice can't compare to the divine guidance we get daily from the Holy Spirit.

So deep down, yea I'm scared. But he also knows, I am scared and he is here with me protecting, guiding, and loving me through this.  Keep us all in your prayers, they are saying it shouldn't be too bad, but then they said that about Charley, and Charley went from a 2 to a 4 in 2 hours, and made a right hand turn that took out this entire area.

Thanks you Guys!

A $40 Big Mac from McDonalds. Do You Think God Likes Cheese On His Hamburger?

It was my usual trek into work, and I stopped for my usual McDonald's tea.   Went into McDonald's saw my usual girl coming out of the restroom, looking pretty upset.  I said "Good Morning" and she started to cry.  The night before she had just got paid, went grocery shopping and got mugged and robbed.  Now, she had no money, no food, and had 2 weeks to go before she got paid again.  Plus the crook had all her personal information. Cause he took her purse too.   Poor lady was fit to be tied.  I ran out to my car, got $40 and gave it to her.  The emotion was overwhelming.  She was so grateful.  God was in that $40, and she knew it.  I went back in to see her again on Thursday, and she told me "I haven't forgot you and the money I owe you, I just want you to know that."    God was in my mouth, in my heart, and in my mind when I said "Don't worry about it.  As a matter of fact, ask God to lead you to someone who needs that $40, and pass it on.  Whether you do it in $5 increments so what, just pass it on!"  I don't want it!  God brought me to you that day, Let him bring you to someone else, that you can help.  Once again the emotion was overwhelming.  So this was a different kind of Junk in The Trunk.  But I am learning about having a Servant's Heart!  Ya know what?  The more I give away?   The more I get to give away!  I love serving our God!  Loving Jesus! and Being Lead by our Holy Spirit! I wanted to share this song I learned in college that fits this perfect.

It only takes a spark to get a fire going.  and soon all those around can warm up in its glowing.  That's how it is with God's love, Once you've experienced it.  You spread his love to everyone.  You want to pass it on.

What a wonderous time is spring, when all the trees are budding.  The birds begin to sing, the flowers start their blooming.  That's how it is with God's love' once you've experienced it, you want to sing it's fresh like spring, you want to pass it on.

I wish for you my friend, this happiness that I've found.  You can depend on Him, It matters not where you're bound.  I'll shout it from the mountain top!  Praise God!  I want the world to know, the Lord of Love has come to me, I want to pass it on.

Love you Guys!
